In Lydia Embalming Services we made it our priority to create that calm and peaceful encounter after a storm. Lydia Embalming Services Pte Ltd is founded and operated by Ms Lydia Lu. She is not only a NEA licensed PEURTC female embalmer in Singapore but also has a PLATO Diploma in Professional Make-Up. When at work, she is meticulous and passionate.
Although Lydia Embalming Services was established in April 2021, Ms Lydia Lu already has more than 5 years experience in this field mentored under the careful eyes of well known certified embalmers in Singapore.

I’m Lydia
I am a NEA licensed female embalmer in Singapore with a PEURTC Diploma and a Plato Professional Make-Up Diploma. Maintaining the ethic and the prestige of this profession without neglecting the humane disposition serve as my work principle.
I never forgot my first encounter with embalming because it ignited my passion to serve the decedent with modesty and dignity. I found a sense of achievements and discovered my passion in embalming despite the challenge it entails . I learned to appreciate life differently through my work and never ceased to give my best service.
Services
What I Offer
Wash & Make-up
Provide care to the decedent by gently cleaning and preparing the body in replicating a person’s likeness and essence to look the best for the funeral. This service is also offered at requested location, eg. home, with a premium.
Embalming
Contributes to the body’s final presentation. This process slows the decomposition of the body for the funeral ceremony. It involves draining and replacing body fluids which are no longer circulating around the body, with a mixture of preserving chemicals.
Post Mortem
A different and complicated embalming process which works from the inside out in order to preserve the internal organs separately, and using arteries in the arms, shoulders or head. Preventative methods are then taken to ensure that no bodily fluids leak from the body.
